This is a big one that can easily get misinterpreted. While you certainly see a solution to a problem and you’re trying to provide help and advice, people take it as an insult or are offended. As a Virgo you strive to improve your atmosphere and be of use, but often times this can rub people the wrong way. Why? Because you’re forgetting that while you certainly may be right, people often need to figure out things for themselves and make those mistakes in order to grow and be a better human being. 

An important thing to never forget no matter your sign: A wise person does not readily take the advice of someone else or subscribe to what someone is telling them blindly. A wise person will think on what you have to say and make the best decision for themselves.

You must allow the people in your life the opportunity to help themselves. This can be REALLY DIFFICULT. Unless your friend or family member is in pain or in a dangerous situation, you can’t be hard on yourself about someone not wanting to take your advice. I know and you know that your suggestions are coming from a good place so make sure when you do offer up your words of wisdom that you’re in fact being empathetic and understanding. Often times Virgo can be perceived as cold and unfeeling because you view things in a black-and-white sort of way. YOU might want a firm hand to help you, but that doesn’t work for everyone. 

It isn’t easy for anyone to hear that they are doing something wrong.

I feel as though there is NO WAY I can objectively answer this because I am SUCH a Harry Potter fan and I really think J.K. Rowling got it right with the elemental/house/character signs. 

BUT. I will do a sign assignment because there are a few alterations here besides lumping water signs in slytherin and fire in gryffindor, etc.

Anonymous Asked: I really dislike having a Virgo Ascendant (as a water Sun sign). When I realized that I did match up with many of the virgo asc. descriptions, I started to dislike myself even more. I feel too wary of people and even more shy, and I can't start conversations without feeling pressured or scared of judgement for some reason. Do you think having a virgo ascendant has anything to do with being really wary and cold in front of people? I don't want to act this way on purpose, but it comes naturally :(

I’m sorry to hear that you’re not loving who you are! However, one of the beauties of astrology is when uncovering traits about yourself that if you feel hindered from your interactions with people, you can take steps to improve yourself! (so many astrology haters out there think that people who are into astrology use it as a crutch or an excuse for bad behavior, when that’s not the case)
