Like they’re opposite sign Gemini, they’re quick-thinkers and can escape uncomfortable situations if need be and without offending (though sometimes that’s unavoidable). While Sag isn’t inherently cunning or manipulative, they do know how to sweet talk others and get what they want, a trait shared amongst the Fire and Air signs.
Anonymous Asked: Judging by this girl i describe, what could her planet placement be? she's quiet, super blunt and tells people if she doesn't like them but she's also super nice and help people alot and show empathy to others. i thought she's a scorpio or a taurus or maybe a capri but she's a sagittarius and this confuses me!! aren't sagittarius supposed to be all smiley and crazy and love others?Well, Sagittarians are known for their honesty. Sometimes this honesty can be rude or blunt. Sagittarians are often misrepresented as “head in the cloud” types that are just able to go-along-to-get-along and I think this is the incorrect understanding of just how far their optimistic natures go. I’m not surprised with the way you describe her that she is a Sag. They are a fire sign, after all!
Not every Sag you come across will tell someone that they don’t like with, “I don’t like you,” but they are not the types to keep up appearances with being fake or be okay with someone or something they inherently disagree with.
Furthermore, no one is obliged to love everyone they meet, haha!
violetopium Asked: How would a sagittarius 'confront' their emotions and fears to get to the optimism and freedom. I am already doing this, but just some more advice would help :)By handling their emotions head-on. For Sag’s it can be easy to push those unwanted feelings away to “deal with” later, but that usually isn’t a good idea, as everything tends to resurface and if pushed away long enough, it will present itself at a very unwanted time.
Make sure you’re honest with yourself, I think that’s the big one here. What you feel, you feel for a REASON. Assess it and confront it. Don’t let it fester and rule you.

nutellasoap Asked: Why do you think Sagittarius would be a Ravenclaw? I was always told we would be Gryffindor?Like I said in the initial post, I felt that not all signs “belonged” under their elemental Hogwarts Houses, though I think quite generally, J.K. Rowling was right.
I think Sag makes a good addition to the Ravenclaw house because both share: intellect, objectivity, reason, deep thinking, love for the unusual or offbeat, academic competitiveness, motivation, and ambition.

BUT. I will do a sign assignment because there are a few alterations here besides lumping water signs in slytherin and fire in gryffindor, etc.

Anonymous Asked: What would a Sagittarius be like when they're sad?Well, they would ideally be alone and CRY IT OUT or perform an activity that helps channel their emotions, whether it be journaling, mopey blogging, working out, playing music, etc. They don’t particularly like sharing those types of emotions with others and will hide it and insist they’re fine even if tears are welling up in their eyes. They don’t like to be perceived as weak and incapable, and they don’t like being prodded about it unless it is from a person that is close enough to them that they wouldn’t mind talking about it.
Their sad session may not last very long, but it’s just as heart-felt and intense as any of the other more emotionally apparent signs.
Anonymous Asked: I'm not sure if it's only me, but do Sagittarius often ask questions that are impossible to answer?? I have many Sagittarius friends and they're all smart and great and finding answers themselves but when they can't they ask and when they ask no one can answer. Why is that??This is very much a Sagittarius trait. Sagittarians are exceptionally inquisitive and are associated with Philosophy and Higher Thinking. This bunch is usually deep-thinking and looks for the answers of the universe, even on a very basic level.
An easy way of looking at it is to take a look at how Gemini, their opposite sign, quickly absorbs information, although it is usually topical, they want to know and understand everything. Sag is similar, but wants to apply it to their own understanding of the way the world works and might even think on this thing/topic/idea/theory for days, weeks, months, and possibly years later.
Your friends might be asking questions that are philosophical in nature which is why it would be hard for most people to give a definitive answer. Sag’s will learn as they mature that most people won’t readily be able to answer their questions and internalize much of their thinking, deeming themselves their own best council.
