Anonymous Asked: So when a guy's moon is in a girl's 5th house, he will want to procreate with her?

It’s certainly a very likely urge, but not guaranteed.

Squashing the Struggles: Understanding Houses

ffaysliveaway answered: I would like to understand HOW the houses work. Cause you say that “this house tells you about that”, but what is it that affect the house?..

I have actually gone over this a few times because I do understand how in depth and confusing understanding the Houses can get. HERE is link to learn all about the Houses in Astrology and your Birth chart :)

in-mercat-we-trust Asked: hi! i understand if this is a lil too in depth, but im so lost when it comes to my bf. im a Taurus with Leo rising and sag moon, hes an Aquarius with Libra rising and Scorpio moon, however ive always sensed such a heavy earth influence in him, his venus is Capricorn, could that be why?

Yes, but a Scorpio Moon adds seemingly extra layers to someone. What they show you is comparable to an iceberg: you only see the tip, and you see what they WANT you to see, plus, the Aquarius Sun will fully support that.

He could very well have other earth influences, such as his North or South Node, Midheaven, Descendant, Eros, or Psyche. Perhaps his Earth Houses have strong aspects to them, in addition to the Venus in Capricorn. You should take a look at his birth chart and see, I am sure there is more hidden!

Anonymous Asked: When a guy's moon is in a girl's 5th house that means he wants to create things with her?

It could. It could also mean that they do well in business enterprises, especially of the creative variety. They genuinely enjoy each other’s company, and their fondness for one another grows the more they are intimate they are—not necessarily sexually (though that is included with the fifth house), but in other ways as well that allow them to express their talents freely. They also would make excellent parents together if that was appropriate to their relationship. Above all, with his moon ruling emotions in her house of pleasure, creativity, and sex, would create a very dynamic and alluring connection.

knight-of-cups Asked: In relationships where there is a significant connection between one person's personal planets and another person's houses, (like someone's Moon in another's fifth house, for example,) who do you think is more affected? I've heard a lot of theories on one party being "more taken to" an individual because of these connections, but they often conflict on which person it is - the house person or the planet person. (I hope this makes sense)

I think it can completely vary, but the variables in this question are the person with the houses (person B) and the Eros and Psyche.

Using the example of the 5th house, if person B has planets and aspects formed within the 5th house they may be more likely to feel a stronger connection with person A than an empty house person B would suggest.

However, I would also check the Eros and Psyche of both partners and see what house those reside in because in typical chart reading those do not usually show up, and could explain a very strong connection when looking at the two charts when trying to understand this issue in particular—which may also explain why people may differ on this issue when looking from chart to chart.

Let me know if you need me to explain that better or differently!

galaxyisis Asked: I don't quite understand the whole "houses" thing in astrology. Like I knew the sign that a planet is in has significance, but how do you then apply that with the house placement? I feel like it's two completely different interpretations if the house isn't the same one the sign is associated with.

To get a complete understanding of the houses, you must first know the qualities and traits associated with each house. These are always associated with that house’s *natural ruler (or sign). HERE is my QRG on the 12 Houses and what they mean.

After that, then you would look at each sign that rules each house in YOUR birth chart. By understanding the qualities and traits from that sign, you can see it as a sort of “blending” of the 2 signs.

Here is where is gets tricky: Your expression of the qualities/traits of that house will be expressed using the sign that is ruling that house in your birthchart. For example, while House 1 is the House of self and emcompasses Aries qualities (leadership, selfishness, assertion, confidence, etc.), if Virgo is the ruler of your 1st House, then Virgo will have governance over those qualities and traits, as well as the added bonus of what Virgo brings to the table (mercury rulership, +’s, -’s, earth and mutable qualities, etc.).

See how that can be VERY layered? To top it off, you receive additional detail and dimension for every planet and aspect that is formed in that house.

Sometimes this is all very cohesive, sometimes it isn’t. Take in all the qualities, some may be stronger than others.

I hope that makes sense!

(*natural meaning, Aries rules the 1st house, Taurus rules the 2nd house, etc., etc.)

Anonymous Asked: my sun, moon, mercury, venus, and jupiter are in house viii. i haven't read too much about the 8th house but it doesn't seem to be a happy one... your earlier anon asking about the 5th house made me want to find out about my strong concentration. what kind of influences on my life will it have/is it having?

The 8th House is one of the mystical houses and is quite an interesting House to have planets in!

Here is my QRG on all the 12 Houses

A concentration in the 8th House like you have is very powerful. I suspect you have a strong intuition, a healthy view towards life and death, and that you are a deep thinker. You will have plenty of opportunity to build something for yourself and the themes of Scorpio and the Phoenix transformation will be prevalent in your life. Look at the sign that rules your 8th House and your aspects that those planets form for more details :)

Anonymous Asked: I have a lot of planets in house V. does it mean anything? thanks

Yes, it means you have a strong concentration in the 5th House, which represents Creativity, Pleasure, Sex, and Joy. Depending on the amount of planets you have in that House, note that 4 or more planets in one house is called a Stellium which is another way of indicating much influence and power derived from that part of your birth chart. It’s also important to note WHAT planets are in that House, what sign rules your fifth house, and what aspects they form with each other and the rest of the chart.

Chances are you have a very strong creative side that influences your work, learning, relating to others, and so on. You enjoy life to its fullest and people might be quite drawn to your spirit.

Hope this helps

borednschooled Asked: Hey there, how've you been?! :D I just thought I'd ask you this question that has been burning my brain for a while. Since I've noticed that I have Cap heavy chart, (asc in Cap, Saturn in Cap, Uran in Cap, and Nep in Cap) will I have more of a Capricorn's personality show up along with my sun and moon?

Hi there! I’m doing well, just getting over a cold :)

The outer planets, such as Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto have a lighter influence on our personality as opposed to the Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Mars, Venus, and Mercury positions.

You will see Capricorn traits, mostly from your Ascendant, but since you have 4 placements in Capricorn, there will be stong GENERAL Capricorn traits present in how you present yourself, your work ethic, choice in friends, turning dreams into reality, and situations and people that enter upon your life. Because of this concentrated influence, take note of the House or Houses these planets are in too, as that House will have a strong influence in your life, so make sure you look deep into the themes.

Above all, when you have all these placements in one sign, there is a good chance you will have at least one Conjunction which is a very powerful aspect in one’s chart.

However, the core of your personality will be found in your personal planets, I hope that makes sense!

Good to hear from you again,

xoxo

Anonymous Asked: How do you identify what your Seventh House is? ( I understand this is the one that has to do with more serious relationships... I've had a personal birth chart done, but I don't know where this is...) Thank you!

The 7th House is the direct opposite of your Ascendant, love!

If your Ascendant is:

Aries: Libra 7th House/Descendant

Taurus: Scorpio

Gemini: Sagittarius

Cancer: Capricorn

Leo: Aquarius

Virgo: Pisces

(and vice versa)

Of course, not everyone’s 7th House has planets inside, so take careful note of the sign and understand it’s expression in regards to long-term relationships and marriage.

You’re welcome, and take care!

Anonymous Asked: Do you think Saturn in the 1st house is a bad position? I have Saturn in Aquarius and it's conjunct my Ascendant (which is also in Aquarius). I feel like that's what makes me so reserved, awkward and less assertive. :\ (I'm Cap Sun, btw.)

No it isn’t! Not at all! It can equate to shyness and a reserved aspect of your personality, and even a nervous tension. However, over time, your needs and efforts to make yourself and what you stand for become recognized and appreciated by the public. People will greatly respect you. This is harder when you’re younger, but as you mature and work for what you want, Saturn here will promise rewards that directly effect you and your lifestyle. You’re incredibly creative in smart and savvy way, you’re a problem solver and you’re rather shrewd when it comes to understanding what works for you and others. You can be a bit stubborn and unmoving, and perhaps afraid of change.

No reason to worry, love, it will work out for you in time, that’s the key to Saturn.

Anonymous Asked: Do Mars in 8th house gets intense stares from people? Sometimes, I'll lose my patience and threaten to punch people in the face if they don't stop staring at me!!! I mean Mars in 8th = intense attraction?

Actually, I had to really think about this one, and yes, it’s definitely possible. It’s such a strong placement for Mars, as one of the traits associated with the 8th House is sex and this indicates a strong sex drive and passion expressed in your demeanor, however, what is going on with you is more likely due to the sign that rules your Mars and how it is aspected in relation to your other planets. That would explain a lot, perhaps look at your Ascendant too and see what aspects are formed with it.

Interesting observation!

Anonymous Asked: I just did an element dominance chart and I'm almost half and half between fire and water. A lot times I have a hard time finding balance within myself. I also hardly have any air elements..which is very good for communication right? It really sucks because I feel like I rub people the wrong way unintentionally. Sag sun/aries moon/leo rising btw.

Yes, sometimes where there is a lot of one or two elements in a birth chart it can make the individual feel a bit imbalanced within themselves. My advice for you is to look at the positive qualities of Earth and Air and take them to heart when life begins to feel a bit frenzied by your own doing.

Remember to take your time when making decisions, try to look at circumstances and people in a more objective light, and a little logical thinking goes a long way!

I think Fire signs in general can feel as though they rub people the wrong way because Fire is such a strong element, and you come across in a very clear and concrete way, and there is nothing wrong with that, just remember to take other people’s feelings into consideration when expressing your strong opinions—diplomacy counts for a lot, so if you can manage to deliver not-so-pleasant news/opinions with understanding and empathy, then you’re right where you need to be!

Anonymous Asked: Are there signs that are considered luckier than others? Also, what does it mean if you have Sagittarius in Jupiter or Sagittarius in Juno?

Sagittarius is associated with the sign of Jupiter and luck is a common theme in the lives of Sag’s. It isn’t what you think though. It’s usually make-it-by-the-skin-of-your-teeth-type of luck. Things just seem to “work out” sometimes… if it was say, traditional “luck,” then all the Sag’s I know including myself would be in a casino right now hitting it big on red (yeah right!)…

Fire signs in general are seen as luckier because they are more apt to be the risk takers of the Zodiac. Because they take MORE risks, they are bound to see MORE payoffs.

Pisces was once ruled by Jupiter as well, and it’s interesting because I don’t see luck commonly associated with that sign (but I believe that it is), and it’s the same kind of luck that Sag demonstrates as it shares with Pisces.

Jupiter in Sagittarius is a strong placement, of course, and it means quite literally that you can make a lot of money in your life—that is, if you save and learn how to handle your finances. Sagittarius is not a materialistic sign therefore, has no issue being generous or putting all that money gained into something else. It would be wise to make the most of it. Don’t get me wrong, it does not mean “dumb luck” with money as this placement equates itself with intelligence and diplomacy and natural gifts. It just means although you can make a lot of money, it wouldn’t be crazy of you to turn down the high paying job for something you truly love to do.

Juno refers to the person or qualities you look for in a person. Therefore, you would find the most contentment with a person who is intelligent, worldly, cultured, thoughtful, adventurous, and ready to explore not only places, but the mind. You require independence, lively debate, and friendship in a relationship.

Hope that makes sense!

Anonymous Asked: Significance of Uranus in 1st house?

Uranus in the House of Self means that there will be a lot of sudden changes and beginnings in your life. You’re VERY eccentric and unique and you embrace it full force, mainly because you don’t see anything unique about you—you simply see it as you being YOU! You’re independent, creative, intuitive, and a bit egotistical and stubborn.

*Remember to note the sign!
