It certainly adds some slight additions to all of your personalities, that’s for sure. There may be some elemental conflict from within that where each of you share Air influence that may contradict with an emotional nature. It’s difficult to say, as of course your Sun sign will indicate where you actually fall on the cusp, but I think it certainly is quite interesting that you all fall on each of the Air cusps in the Zodiac!
Thank you love!
Cusps generally aren’t controversial, it’s the UNDERSTANDING of cusps that can be confusing for people (especially those not born during a cusp). While the sun transitions from one sign to another, the close proximity can create a period of ambiguity, which is why most astrologers give similar dates of cusps.
The key to understanding cusps is that you can only have ONE sun sign, not two. When someone says “Oh, I am both Leo and Virgo because I was born on August 22,” (as an example), that’s completely false. A birth chart with the correct time and location of birth will give them the correct sign. Under extremely RARE cases, an individual will feel unlike the sign they were born and be partial to the other on the cusp. Why? Because chances are, they were born JUST as the sun was transitioning down to the very MINUTE and there is a chance that if the time of birth is off by a minute or so, that this could be a possible explanation (again, very unlikely). For instance, I was born at 00 degrees Sagittarius, and while I am on the cusp, I am still hands down a Sagittarius, and even though 00 is literally the Sun first entering Sag, it doesn’t mean I am “less” of a Sag.
Degrees are another thing that confuses people. Degrees are considered the planet movement, 0-30 in a sign and is cause for debate among astrologers and has more of a grey area. Some say that 0-10 is the strongest of a planet in a house, while some say that the last 10 degrees are the strongest, and the same is said about the middle 10 degrees. Many have different definitions and meanings for each degree of a planet, which is why it’s hard to come across a “set in stone” description of what each degree in every sign could mean.
The best way to understand the degrees, in my opinion is by understanding the aspects that the degrees create in your birth chart.
Lastly, although a person born under a cusp will have traits from both signs (with primary traits coming from the Sun sign), the cusp HARDLY overshadows Moon, Ascendant, Mercury, Venus, and Mars influences and aspects which make up the majority of your individuality. The ONLY way the cusp COULD have a larger impact is if the sign of the cusp that IS NOT the sun sign is also present in those personal planets, which is why some born under a cusp can feel those qualities quite strongly. Even those who aren’t born under a cusp experience this as well, which is one important reason why Astrology is so detailed.
I hope this helps squash confusion on cusps for yourself and everyone out there. I really think those who are born on a cusp experience a harder time relating to their sun sign until they have their birth chart done, and then it can bring light to themselves :)

Hi darling! Get your birth chart done. You need to know your correct time of birth and location. This will provide you with your Sun sign (which is either Leo or Virgo). Undoubtedly, you WILL have traits from both signs, however, you only have ONE sun sign, which is the sign you should look to first.
By getting your birth chart done, you will see other placements, such as your Moon sign. Your Moon sign and other planetary placements have a much heavier influence on your personality compared to the cusp itself, which is minute in the grand scheme of all the other awesome components that make you who you are!
This is my advice:
1. Get your birth chart done and find your Sun sign. Once you do that, you should realize that your Sun sign is the general filter that all other placements and influences pass through. It is the “general” you
2. Understand that your Moon, Ascendant, Mercury, Venus, and Mars placements have a much LARGER influence on your personality than your Cusp does, unless those planets are occupied by one of the 2 signs a part of the cusp
3. Cap and Aquarius were once ruled by Saturn and still share many of the same similarities today, just have a read under the FIND YOUR SIGN tab!
Trust me, this will help you!
xoxo
Hey there! I will help you, but you know what will provide you with better insight? Knowing your other personal planets—especially your Moon sign. As a fellow cusper, I understand completely, but everything makes so much more sense knowing those placements—and they have a stronger influence over your personality than the cusp does. Always look to your actual Sun sign, first and foremost.
In regards to your issue, Gemini is much more forgiving than Taurus and Taurus is a sign that can hold grudges! Gemini tends to be more “live and let live” and moves on very quickly. Taurus holds onto pain a bit longer and are unwilling to forgive. In fact, although their temper is slow to escalate, once fully pissed off, they are not above getting physical or confrontational! So I would definitely say that Taurus has a strong influence on that part of you.
Take care xoxo
Those are only general best and worst matches. Any signs can be compatible with one another, as true compatibility encompasses two people’s birth charts. The same goes for cusps. Even if a person is born on a cusp, they are still only ONE SUN SIGN, with varying traits from the other sign.
The basics for determining compatibility are:
Sun
Moon
Ascendant
Mercury
Venus
Mars
I know I already did brief overview of each cusp, when I first started the blog, but I think they could be better and with more detail… I know a lot of you are cusps and always seem to want to know a bit more about your cusp. Would you like to see a little bit more on cusp descriptions in the future?
Let me know:)
In the meantime, don’t know if you’re a cusp? Go HERE
I have seen a lot of misconceptions about Cusps going around Tumblr. Being someone who was born on a Cusp, I totally understand how it’s frustrating. So I am going to break it down by the facts to make it easier to understand.
Here is a breakdown of the Cusp dates and so you will be able to see if you fall into a cusp category. Still get your birth chart done if you are born on the last day of a cusp. (there is no such thing as being born on the cusp of a cusp, it’s these days only :D )
Remember, at the very most, you have traits from both signs, but you only have one Sun sign. It is very important to have your birth time and location to get the most accurate chart reading.
I hope this has helped clear up any confusion for you all out there who are trying to figure out their cusp info.
