I feel as though there is NO WAY I can objectively answer this because I am SUCH a Harry Potter fan and I really think J.K. Rowling got it right with the elemental/house/character signs. 

BUT. I will do a sign assignment because there are a few alterations here besides lumping water signs in slytherin and fire in gryffindor, etc.

Sure, I might make a QRG on this too in the future.

Generally, the Earth signs tend to be very hardworking and practical in regards to making money and doing what needs to be done as opposed to what they WANT to do. Out of all of the Earth signs, Taurus has a lazy streak, but they tend to work smart and are naturally inclined to put their money to good use. 

Although the Fire signs are extremely goal oriented, they tend to want to play now and work later because if a job doesn’t pertain to their life goals, they get a bit distracted. However, once on track to doing what they’re passionate about, they clean up their act. Fire signs are quite risky and make friends in high places which usually leads to big payoffs and windfalls of money—often times this is perceived as luck. 

Air signs fluctuate between determined and passive when it comes to work. Gemini changes direction a bit more than the other Air signs, but they tend to appeal to bosses and co-workers due to their willingness to be of service. Libra and Aquarius are matter-of-fact when at work, but also quite social, sometimes, a bit too much. They are excellent idea people and know when to leave a job for a better opportunity or more money.

Water signs have great staying power and really strive for the top when working. Pisces is similar to Taurus in that they can be slow to start, but once they find their niche, they capitalize. Scorpio’s will always find their way to a position of leadership, sooner or later, and are on top of their game. Cancer’s are selective in their work ethic, but are one’s to watch out for because while it isn’t out there for everyone to see, they have some serious goals and will make them happen.

Cancer is a master at keeping up a strong facade to mask their most painful emotions, but once they have a reason to be jealous, it’s all coming down. Cancer’s are usually quite loyal and hardly give their partner’s or people in their lives a reason to be jealous and when it happens to them, they are shocked, hurt, and taken aback, and it can destroy their trust. 

Like Capricorn, they are unafraid to burn bridges and take another person down when they are hurt, because to hurt a Cancer, means to DEEPLY hurt them. They most likely will have an emotional scene, or bottle things up until they lash out at you because they hate to be made to feel insecure. They are more likely to forgive and try to move on if it’s a small occurrence, but they won’t forget it and will bring it up later in an argument.
